9. What if I want to include a note or story about my loved one?

We welcome that. Many customers choose to include a short note or story when sending in ashes. While it won’t be visible in the final product, it helps us connect to the spirit behind each piece and we treat that story with the utmost respect.

10. What exactly is the process for incorporating ashes into the piece?

We carefully incorporate a small amount of your loved one’s ashes into the glaze that coats the ceramic. During firing, the ashes bond with the glaze, becoming a permanent part of the surface. Each piece is unique, a beautiful blend of artistry and memory.
